At St Gregory's, all pupils are encouraged to become active participants in a democratic society; contributing to the voice and vision of our school and wider community.
These Pupil Leadership Groups meet regularly; giving the children opportunity to share their plans, and take ideas from the other children in their classes, so that every pupil is encouraged to contribute to the voice and vision of our school. Each Pupil Leadership group will create and follow an action plan for the academic year and will evaluate their contributions collaboratively at the end of the academic year.
We are both proud and delighted to introduce you to our new Pupil Leadership Groups for the 2024-25 Academic Year:
Thursday 19th September 2024 - Democracy in Action!
Children from across the school have been sharing their manifesto with their peers ahead of tomorrow’s Polling Day!
It’s Polling Day! Children from Reception to Year Six are voting for their new pupil leaders. How exciting!
Reception enjoyed participating in Polling Day, understanding what it means to 'vote'.
To celebrate our new Pupil Leaders, the whole school participated in an awards ceremony where each pupil leader was revealed. Each pupil received a certificate and badge to celebrate their new role!
