At St. Gregory’s Catholic Primary School, we encourage children to become geographers and want them to enjoy exploring the world around them. We provide a rich geographical curriculum that equips pupils with knowledge about diverse places, people, and natural and human environments, alongside finding out about the Earth’s key physical and human processes.
We achieve this by using a practical approach which offers the pupils hands-on learning experiences. Wherever possible, we incorporate cross-curricular opportunities; enabling pupils to transfer skills from other subjects and apply their knowledge, skills and understanding in a different scenario.
