Year 6 enjoyed dissecting hearts in their science lessons

The children have been developing their knowledge and understanding of animals including humans, with a focus on the circulatory system. This week, the children were set on an investigation to dissect a pig’s heart to identify similarities to a human heart. They did a fantastic job and used exceptional scientific vocabulary throughout their experiment.
