Poetry Slam Workshop Year 5 and Year 6

This week, Years Five and Six enjoyed a engaging day; participating in a Poetry Slam with poet Emilie Jones, from Authors Abroad.

The children wrote and performed poems based on this year’s theme of ‘counting’.

They created thought-provoking poems to reflect on the theme in many different ways: moments that count, people who count and celebrating equality.
