Thank you to a truly amazing member of our Parish, Maureen T, who joined Year One’s Religious Education lesson today. 🕯️
The children prepared some questions to ask Maureen about how the church cares for the poor and vulnerable. They enjoyed listening to many ways in which the Church cares for others, including the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Year Five and Year Six had a wonderful day participating in a full day Poetry Slam Day with poet Emilie Jones. ✍️
The children wrote and performed poems based on this year’s theme of ‘counting’. They created thought-provoking poems interpretating in the theme in all sorts of different ways including moments that count, people who count and celebrating equality in recognising that everybody counts.

Some Year Five pupils had the privilege of attending St Gregory’s Parish Warm Hub this lunchtime, alongside Mrs. Wilkes and Mrs. Bailey who is our Catholic Mission Governor. The children served drinks 🫖, cakes 🍰 and soup 🥣 to members of our community, and enjoyed playing board-games, too! L was especially delighted to see her Grandad there.
